I am planning to run 3 Amp Set up.

one 2-Ch for front stage
one 2-Ch for rear fills
one Mono for Sub stage

Will one 0/1 AWG POwer kit suffice this requirement or it makes sense to buy a 4 gauge dual Amp power kit ?

Hi mate, just wanted to understand why are you going for two 2-ch amps for your frontstage and rearfill instead of a single 4-ch (unless you already have 2 amps lying around)- because a single 4-channel amp would be more cost-effective (VFM, consider 1 DLS RA40 vs 2 DLS RA20s), needs less space in the car and less cabling, so less strain on electrical system and less chances of anything going kaput.

I get your point.

But, My front stage needs more power than my rear fill. THere is no such amp (within my budget) that gives differential outputs except the JL 450/4 V2.

I know its a tremendous amp but, it weights close to 20 pounds. And My sources in US cant carry anything above 15 Max. Also, its priced above $450 which is a strech in my budget.

That leaves me with two choices;
one to forget about the rears, and
other is to get two 2 Ch Amps.

i wanted to buy a good AMP kit thats when i got confused about tall these gauges and measurements.

An help in deciding the Amp kit would bgreatly appreciated

Both the two Ch give out less tha 130 RMS per Ch @4 Ohms
and My Mono rated at 320 RMS@ 4 Ohms

Which 2-ch amps do you have in mind?

Hmm as LBM says, a 0-gauge cable going into a distri block would be much more than enough- from the block you could feed 4-gauge to mono and 4 or 8-gauge to each of the two-channels.

What this setup gets you is one less cable running from your battery to the amps- so theoretically, lesser chance of EMI.
