Which Pioneer HU 4050\5050\6050 ?

I am really confused between the Pioneer 4050,5050 and the 6050. I just want good sound quality and Aux-in and Direct USB support. All 3 have them. So which one should i go for. I like the list button the 4050.
hos is the build quality of these units. Can it be compared to the Pioneer 7950UB.

I'm really confused about the x090 series. Is it the same as the x050 series with just the difference of backlight color?

the *050 series is the official series made for india
the *090 seires has approx the same features as the *050 series only this is for asian markets and when we in india recieve them via via channels they are "grey" market

only the 4090 has a faceplate while in the 4050 i think the cd can be loaded directly without dropping the face down
the former would look better from the outside and have less chance of dust gettin in

the 5050 and 5090 are almost the same except for the colour

hmm build quality different views
some say the older series *950 had better build quality and others say its the same.
you will have to judge yourself

however the newer series the *050 and *090 have usb out that the older series did not

i would suggest the 4090 if you are looking for a simple piece with 3rca outs, usb,i pod compatible with extra cord and aux out already present

I have searched a lot for the 6050 but different dealers give me different time frames for the release time. From one week to over one month.

i found out yesterday from Lucky Motors in Milan that they have the 6050 for Rs 9200 and Parth Accessories has it for Rs 9500. This is way to expensive compared to the next model 5050 which you get for Rs 6200.

It is expensive because of the new model wait for a month and see the price go down.

Someone just PMed me and said they were quoted 8K for it. Boy , do I feel like a sucker

But yes, as LBM says, the price is really jacked up because of the scarcity in the market. Otherwise it should be cheaper than the 7950, and should really be somewhere in the 8K - 8.5K range.

(I paid Rs. 9,350 for it).
