D.I.Y: Getz ICE'D

Hi friends,I finally managed to finish a simple install in my 3months old getz,took alot of pains in collecting/Saving the Vitamin M for this..ok here are the stuff i used.

Pioneer In-dash AVH-P4950dvd{had with me}
Ground Zero - GZTC 165T 6.25"Titanium Series Compos
Ground Zero - GZTF 69T 6x9" 3 way triax-speaker
Ground Zero - 2 x GZRW 12XD-AL subwoofer 500 WRM
Twister - 4channel amp (some 8-9yrs old stuff) {had with me}
Blaupunkt - GT4 MKII (Powering the Compos + Speakers)
Cap - Earthquake 1.5F{had with me}
Distribution Block
Fuse Block
4Gauge Wiring
Stinger RCA Cables
Damping - Noise Kill

Started on the 19th Jan and finished the work on 30th jan, everything was build by me including the MDF box 5/8" thickness,took me alot of days just because too much work pressure in office,so used to get into it after coming from work for 3-4hrs daily.

Install completed with alot cuts on my fingers and still many marks are left healing slowly..hehehehehe but it was a true madness doing it myself.

HU – Pioneer AVH-P4950dvd

Amps go On-Board

Damping Goes in Front door (Not a D.I.Y.)

Really love the colour of the Neons

Got to tired while doing the DIY,and probably also started loosing interest in the mean while but then again took the initiative completed,now i feel relaxed as the system is tunned as per my listening.. Ive used Sealed enclosure for the GZ Subwoofers and they sound really cool,good SQ in the car.

Any BHPians want to meet/see the setup most welcome..hope you guys liked the stuff
cheers..

Fantastic install Ramie. I think you should open your own ICE shop.

Is that Mohan doing the damping?

Is that plexiglass that you have replaced with on the amplifiers ?

Since you have concealed those amplifier any precaution on amps getting heated up ?

yess it is Plexiglass placed over the amps,since it has drills all over so no issues at all for amp getting over heated,i had gone to lonavala with couple of friends today and was blasting the system throughout the wat for hours everything is just working superb without any distortion or rattlings

LBM: Sirji GZs are amazing they sound too good,satisfied with the buy

Shuvd,bmdesai1987:Thaks bro

cheers...
