What's going on in these two pictures? I ask because I also got Illusion El 6.1s fitted in my Estilo, and this didn't happen with my car.

p.s. it seems that if you want to post thumbnails to your pictures, all you need to do is copy-paste the second text-field (i.e. right under where it says "Post:" )

Hey VEBMETAL - wat is your setup?

This is a mould on the door panel.
It was looking like may be a missed portion, on the inside part of the door, the small crevice moud need to be cut to accomodate the speakers. I wonder if it is part of all Estilo doors?

I had shot this snap on purpose to show it to you guys. Other Estilo owners please shed light if it is part of all the doors.

It's OK

A BIG thanks to you, because you were the one who came up to FMDrive to give me a demo of the Compos. It was the first step for me to decide to get Illusions.

I wonder why there was a ground zero sticker inside the Illusion Box package? - any explanation?

Thanks for the time you spent with me to show the demo.
Guess you should have a look when you are free before I leave out of Mumbai - anytime this week. (I guess by Saturday i will be flying outta Mumbai).

So please call me when you are free and around Santacruz/Bandra/Khar - OKEY?

Thanks for the wishes

Thanks for the wishes.
I was amazed and intoxicated to give such write ups after watching the FMDRive team work like honey bees, and listening to the Illusions after the install.

Cheers to them once again!!

the pic links are not posted properly, eg PhotoDump - Free Hosting which is why it isn't showing up.

Expense Sheet:

1. Illusion Electra EL6.1 - Rs. 5800/- [with discount] - wit Bill and Warranty
2. Kenwood KAC 8401 Amplifier - Rs.4700/- [grey]
3. Cable - 3.5MM Jack to RCA, 3 meters - Rs.220
4. Power cable - Rs.250/-
5. Fuse assembly - Rs.200/-
6. Spacer Rings, Power Switch, Switch cable etc. - Rs.350/-
7. Installation Charges - Rs.500/-

Total I paid 12200/-
My Budget was 10,000 + Cable + Installation - And I stood by it.!!

Future Plans:-

1. Sub Woofer, with a decent tight base [no boom boom]
2. Head Unit - that is impressive on the dash board.

All of you are welcome to suggest the best Sub and HU that compliment my existing setup. Keep the Kenwood KAC 8401 in mind!

See you all soon with thumbnail corrections for pictures.

No need for that. I think the shop keeper has eared in other things by quoting the component cheaper.

The EL6.1s are definitely much cheaper than what I paid. but what I am surprised at is that everything else is also very cheap. Usually if someone quotes a low price for something (e.g. speakers) they would compensate by overcharging you for another (e.g. HU, Installation etc.). But MillionSwords seems to have got every single thing in that list at a very good price!!
