Alright something seems to have gone wrong in my setup.

I noticed that there is slight tick sound everytime the track changes & also when source is changed.

Now I used to get such sound in my PIO HU with the alternator whine. Now that was as per my understanding because of the HU, so does that mean the 785 has also going bad or is it the amp who is the culprit?

Just for information the amp has been repaired twice so far.

The sound is really mild as of now but I dont want to take chances & I really hope its not the HU :|

If the amp was goig bad why would the sound only come when the CD player changes track. See if the sound comes via an ipod or FM source. It is most prbably the HU.

Hey man..this happened to my 785 also. The car was with a friend for a day. When I took it back I noticed this clicks while changing tracks. When I called my friend to check how he had used the HU, he told me that he had done something on the settings that he doesnt know and he didnt understand the interface. He got into settings trying to figure out what button was what.

I reset the HU using the reset button behid the front panel and it has been normal after that.
