Hooking up a Reverse video camera through a Pioneer DVD player ?

Can a Reverse Video camera be hooked up with a roof mount screen through a Pioneer DVH-P5950MP DVD player ??

If yes how ?

yup... as long as it has a video in..
and i guess it does.
but i guess, automatic switching on and off wouldnt be possible..(unless you try some custom tweaks)

According to Mugen-ji ( http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...tml#post461610) there is a video input at the back of the 5950. The rear-view video camera can be connected to this input.

But, the question is how will you switch to the Aux-video-in when the reverse gear is engaged? IMHO asking the driver to switch explicitly via source selection (or even via the remote control) would be a right royal PITA.

Check the manual - is there a control pin that allows one to switch sources? If so, that pin could be connected to the "reverse" limit switch (the way those pesky reversing horns are connected).
