I will not buy new subs - I have some that I took out from my wife's car [the Zen that I sold] and I will re use them. They are Illusion Audio - Luccent - not in the top league - I know, but I would much rather use them off.
Besides in a 'small car' 2 X 12" subs shall be more than enough. I hope.

Another suggestion

Bhagwan Sir,

After my initial mistake of misjudging your Budget, please allow me to suggest something based on what you have mentioned(the part which I have quoted.)

Please check this setup

Front + Subs ICE

This setup has only front component speakers & two subs.

This might be over your budget but I believe that is not an issue.

Auditioning this might be an issue as the car is in Pune

Unfortunately there isn't much in Mumbai I can arrange for you. We have a few cars Hertz, Image Dynamics etc installs there but nothing in the ranges you want to hear.

Of course, if you happen to be in Delhi anytime, do let me know and we can organize something.

Hmm.. pure digital, sounds good but you miss something there. Atleast try something for a fun. I am not into a big debate or an advocate of non-digital things. But there are some interesting and sweet and warm sounding things in LP / Tube section too. I agree that digital has a very smooth output compared to analogs, but some analog devices give raw and live stuff which we miss in digital. I am not using very high end stuff and can't afford them now. But I still like to listen Dire Straits' Money for Nothing in my LP than my CD. Though the CD gives a crystal clear smooth output, LP has a more warm and live feeling. But again its a matter of taste. Wish you all the best with your ICE.

Flawed logic. Honestly.
You had a PM sent a day before. Didn't you?

Yes Sam !

It is still with me; You had sold it to me more than 1 decade back,,,,,,
However, I have stopped multi channel many years back.
The set up still exists, Paradigm Tower [Esprit Series] Speakers + B & W Centre Speaker etc.
I listen to movies on a Headphone now - Audio Technica. Cheap & Good & no one gets disturbed [at home i.e.].

No Sir;

Opinions I appreciate.

We all will learn in the process.

However, the biggest 'tution teacher' is a live demo;
We need to listen to different set ups - all kinds & then decide what we like & what we dislike - that too why ? Questions must be answered.

Sir, I need to listen;

B & T has offered, but most of that is mine.
Gunbir was kind to offer - but it is in ND. I am in Mumbai.

I need to get Auditions in Mumbai.
That is what I want, else, I shall have to install 'blind' rather 'deaf' & that I am not going to be happy with.

AUDITIONS !

AUDITIONS !

AUDITIONS !

P.S. With skyrocketing real estate prices, I wonder where you keep that much equipment. You'll need a warehouse to do that.

Well that should be no problem for Bhagwan right? :-)

B&T remember he did say some of the stuff is what he USED to own.
