Rockford Fosgate Demo Beetle

I visited Auto Fusion in Koramangala today. I was surprised to find that Anwar is setting up demo of Rockford Fosgate in a Beetle.

I was happy to meet another Team-BHP memeber, svsantosh. He was changing the wiring of his alto there.

The vehicle was parked on the road. It seems that it has been there for a long time. Please note that the interior as well as exteriors were dirty as the work is in progress.

I could not listen to the audio set up as the work is still in progess. The set up looks great and the pictures I have taken in hurry do not do justice to Anwar's workmanship. He is genius!!

I was happy to find that Anwar is also a fan of Alpine 9887 HU.

For an ordinary person, would be quite shocking to see the bonnet so neatly done!

(Conventional engine bay)

The car needs a nice wash too.

I guess you are referring to the flat portion under the bonnet. He has placedtwo Amplifiers there. Total there are 3 amplifiers and 4 speakers under the bonnet.

This is the first demo car i've seen without and subs! (or are there any hidden away from sight??)

Looks neatly done. Are those horn tweeters / mids flanking the amp in the boot?

Whoever owns this one doesn't horns for warning traffic ahead! If he is faced with road hogs or slow traffic in front, he can play "Allah duhayi hai, bechaini chhai hai..." at a loud volume. Surely the next 5 cars ahead will get his message with windows closed.

If it was done up in early 2007, what was being done this time?

Those aren't horns DerAlte they are the same 6X9's you see behind the amps. The angle makes them look like horns.

The car's still WIP i think. finishing touches are still left. It was completed in a hurry for the reopening of the second showroom down the road. It was kept on display there.

Oh man, I seriously hope the subs are in the front under those amps or something. What a waste otherwise. Super opportunity to get true upfront bass can be potentially lost here for the sake of this show business we have seen in a zillion cars now.

The subs are in the first picture. Its where the rear seats usually are.

Yes, the subs are at the back. There is no sub woofer in the front.

The car is from bombay and the rockford team has asked anwar to do the install. I had the pleasure of having the car over the weekend in december. Car sounds great. There were no rattles or jarring whatsoever.
The entire ICE as well as the car run on a single battery. The install is not 100% finished, he is till waiting on some parts to complete it. The car by itself is a dream. The sports edition and a LHD. Runs smooth and has a bit of oomph in the engine as well
