You can try this setup:

HU Pioneer 5050 - 6k
JBL GTO 937 - 3.5K
JBL GTO 427 - 2.5K

Installation / antenna etc is going to cost you 1k more.

Going to get it for my car. Decent combination IMHO.

Listen to this and other combinations yourself and decide.

i don't have much idea about about the GZ coaxials, but i would suggest you not to buy kicker . IMHO they are not good purchase and more i am no guru to decide. As said by everyone here "audition and let your ears decide!!"

HU is great, just change the GTO series to GT5-963 and GT5-402 if you prefer your speakers to be less bright..

Excellent set-up IMO. But shouldn't the tweeter be in the A-pillar,as far as getting the maximum out of them concerned?
What does the Gurus say about this?
And why so much disparity in pricing in different cities for JBL products?Perhaps Sam could throw some light on the matter.

Re: ICE for i10 at Rs.15000

Guess I am bumping this thread after 4 years. My requirements are exactly the same - ICE for my i10 at 15K. Should I go for the same setup as mentioned by OT

Quote:
Pioneer DEH-4050UB - Rs.5900
JBL- GTO-937 (B&W) - Rs.3500
JBL - GTO-507 (B&W) - Rs.4500
Or are there any new options available in the market at this range?

P.S : Complete noob in this domain

Re: ICE for i10 at Rs.15000

Friends,

Bumping this thread as my friend has similar requirements.

He is looking for a setup within Rs 15K max for his i10.
He listens to all kinds of music and his expectation is music has to be clear in all volumes.

Shortlisted HU: Pioneer MVH-1490UB (his primary requirements are USB/Ipod + FM) = Rs 3.4 K (price from online).
Can stretch upto Rs 4.5K max for a good HU with useful additional features compared to MVH-1490UB.

Front & Rear: Please suggest some good speakers.
