Ok guys chill!!!!

Very very nice install. I like the AMP the most.

I hope the the cost of ICE is not more than the BEAST itself!

Note from Mod -

Okay guys. I think this issue has reached its end.

Lets please get back to the topic at hand and not discuss interpersonal/interbrand politics anymore.

That seems to be a 'tall' claim.
No way was this install going to cost any where close to the cost of the car !!
1.5 to 2 may be tops. IMHO.
I am sure Gunbir & Autophile would correct me.
I sure wish a 'Safari' came for that price. I too may consider an SUV !! Trafic in Mumbai will not permit, but at that price - boy it sure is a bargain......

These are the newer CTX components from iD. The midbass is a poly cone like the iDQv2 subs. In fact the midbass is very similar to the classic iDQ6 driver of the 90s. The driver basket is also the same as the CXS (Chameleon) basket. The tweeter is new to the iD family and its a cracker of a tweeter. Loads of top end detail along with a warm signature.

This set has surprised us and it is worth way more than the Rs 12400 it retails for. No doubt our favorite set right now under 35k. The stainless steel crossovers are in the XS series of components.

Sir, spot on. Here are some prices for the curious:

- JVC AVX33 - 19000
- Image Dynamics CTX65cs components - 12400
- Image Dynamics CTX65 coaxials - 9300
- Image Dynamics iDQ12D4 v2 - 14000
- Genesis Profile 5 amplifier - 55100
- Connection Cables - 10000
- Damping - 4000

I think the totals around 125K

Thats great to hear. They don't look like they are for 12k. they look expensive. Beautiful.

Actually, i was too lazy(you know) to get up and check the price.

cheers

Gunman, from the quotation I got from JB, I see that:

1. Cabling & Connections (Audio, Video, Terminals) are alone worth 20g's
2. Damping is close to 6g's
3. The screens in the headrests ( I assume atleast 3.5g's each) 7g's

So the total is more close to 150g's. Sahi phatka maara re mere bhai ko.

OT: Please let me know about the ID's here in San Diego.

Thanks for everything

Oh yes, I forgot about the screen, video and speaker cables. It is in fact closer to 150K. Baaki it is our duty to connect your wallet to your ears, phatka is inevitable, could be 15k, 150k or 1500k. Depends on your ears and your wallet.

Re iD, you are so close to their factory. I will organise something tomorrow.

Great install!! Congrats.

Even the price of ID sub and componets look tempting. Will consider them for next install.

Congrats man. Would love to hear the Ids with a Genny. I have never heard a real good SUV install. Looks like a trip to Delhi is in order. I'm sure your brother is one happy guy. Gunnu and JBs installs are superb and you can always turn up the volume when Gunman fires his jokes

Oye thanks buddy!! My bro is literally on cloud 9 ever since he got this install. I'm also just dying to get back home but not just to listen to this audio setup.

You see, on my 1.5 month vacation this year end, pehle this SUV will go to Manali with me( have to do some important shopping around there ), then go to Goa ( where the aforementioned shopping will be expended ) and then there are some other important things to attend to. Like meeting family and friends.. hehehehe.

Cheers
