AFAIK he's not really into audio.

By the way his sister has a very very interesting report to present to the ICE section. She just has not had the time yet.
She went to Sinsheim and took pictures for all of us on my request.

Why don't you PM either with the review - or invite them here to translate. That's what T-BHPians do right? Help each other.

Anyways, The real reason for this quote is Jai ho Navin ji...!!! cheers:
I am always amazed by the sheer knowledge our this Senior member possesses. And with nice contacts in the industry to back that up. Already knowing that BBW will distribute Bull, Rainbow in India even before it was told to all of us on the forums.

This may be OT, maybe not. But can anyone point me to a review/ shoot-out/ test report of Car & HiFi or Auto Hi Fi where there are bad things being said about some product? Even a review for something like Boss or Vibe or DUB Mag Audio will qualify, but there should be specifically something negative, to the effect that the product is seriously not recommended.

Precisely why I have stopped readign reviews to a large extent. Most of my purchases whether it be home or auto equipment have been through A/B comaprisons.

No, and that's one advantage of discussion forums like Team-BHP. People here don't hesitate from bashing Xplod.

But wait for some time. I will write a negative review of Pioneer HUs in the near future.

but even if they dont say anything bad , you will still be able to read between the lines

If they selectively highlight a few features, then you can safely assume that the rest are lacking.

i think reviews are only given so that people can make up their mind.
Price/performace equation and all that .. Also they do state the facts..
then i guess its up to you to make the final decision.
Just like you said greenhorn sir... Read Between The Lines

Perfect;

They [magazines] only review products to get ads.

I actually only look at reveiws for small hints on installation & it is the best place to find out what is the m.s.r.p. of the product.
Helps me to know what the product should cost in India !!

Exactly in many a review you can tell what the reveier thought by reading between the lines.

LOL, yes. Very funny all those blatant lies they speak.

Sam Uncle! LOL :-) this is superb. I never had an Uncle who wore a bright orange pair of pants.
