Just got an email from Blaupunkt India informing about the 2008 line up of their ICE products. Seems that the prices have increased a bit. Here's the catalog and the link to Price List

Looks pretty stagnant, really.

Prices may have gone up as the Rupee due to exchange rates, although I think the Euro has held its value against the rupee better than the pound, and the dollar is sorry thing.

Pricelist is MRP. The real street price will of course be cheaper.

Hey nice to add this broucher pictures here. I have the same broucher which i got it last year in October 2007 from a Blau Dealer. So it seems they are not adding up anything new this year.

Hey,

I have got Kingston MP47 installed in my Palio stile 1.6 yesterday.

I auditioned this one along with Pioneer 5090 and found that clarity was great with this HU, so gone ahead with it.

I have a Melbourne SD27 installed in a sienna weekend.
Love the ease of memory cards... no CD mess in the car...

Though it's a no jazz HU, no CD drive either...

Planning to buy Bluetooth adaptor to add USB and Bluetooth compatibility.

I did not get IPod Cable. But there is a USB cable which is connected from the back of HU. Also dealer gave me AUX-IN cable with which i can connect my iPhone to HU.

ok, I guess the USB cable shall work for Hard-disks and other USB port devices. Correct me. Aux cable is great however, with the IPOD cable, the tracks can be changed through the HU/Remote, which I don't believe is the case with Aux connectivity.

Frankly, these HU's are so costly, I feel, a HU above 10 K should come with the IPOD cable

@anuj, could you please check, when iPod is connected to the HU USB through the original USB cable that came with the iPod, if you are able to control tracks from the HU? Some USB HUs are able to do that apparently. Depends whether the HU senses there is an iPod connected, like PnP on PCs.
