I plan to try out Driven, EOK for this. Hope he has it.

I had to use a plywood shelf because i couldnt get one made of MDF here. It flexes a bit at high volumes and makes a weird grinding sound. This is going to get worse once i get an amp.
Should i use fibre glass sheets as described here or is it better to try and get/make a MDF tray ?

Try the FG sheet - your existing investment will not be lost. If you can find the materials, you can do it yourself.
