Logan ICE - Blaupunkt system

ICEGods,

I am thinking of the following Blaupunkt instal for a new Logan 1.4GLX. Since it is self-driven (until I run out of patience and cusswords), I really just need fronts for now and can do with Rear Amp-less CoAuxs later if needed. Pardon the noobiness of the questions but here we go:
1. What do people think of this for a music mix of Punk/Alternative/Classic-Rock/Rahmanesque collection? (I am not much of a Basshead)
2. Do people here have ideas about the Mumbai street prices for this setup with VAT, B&W and installation (MSRPs listed below - Total *FINAL* budget ~16k)
Alternative suggestions are welcome but I am kinduva sucker for Blaus.

HU: London MP37 9K
Amp: GTA Special MK k II 3.75K
RMS Power@4 ohms 2x60 / 1x180 watts
Fronts: THC 542 4.25K
Impedance 4 ohms
Diameter (mm) 130
RMS Power 50 Watts
AUX IN Cable for Ipod ~ .5K

I have gone through the Search-Read-GyanGain cycle and find less information about Blaupunkt and lesser about ICEd Logans-hence this post. If I missed any information please accept my customary shoot-myself-in-the-head routine.
I will certainly put in a few words about the performance when I get the rig.

Danke Schön,
Ashish.

if you just want to hook up the ipod , the GTA 280/480's take direct aux inputs. Since you'll be running the fronts alone , get 6.5 inch comps, and since you're planning to amp them, throw in some damping as well

Good point greenhorn.
In fact now on comparing the specs I realize I can settle for the Maui, Mumbai or San Diego without losing on any functionality of interest. (Basic FM and MP3 CDs come handy sometimes). That'll be some cash saved for ... a speaker upgrade?

About the 6.5" Comps. I was not sure if the Logan door brackets can fit them. Has anyone tried 6.5s in ze Logan?

Thanks once again.
Ashish.

I would suggest you for:

Pioneer 4050 (USB) 5.6k
JBL 937s 3.4k-3.8k
JBL CS series component speakers - 2.2k
Kenwood/sony 2channel amp - 3k
Amp wiring kit - 700rs
Total - 15k Approx

Thanks ramie2400,

(Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.)

Has anyone installed 6" front components on their Logan?

Thanks,
Ashish.

You'll have to screw on the factory speaker grill if you fit 6" speakers. The 6" speaker will cover the openings into which the grill snap fits.
