i really wonder why people put a sun film on a crystal clear windshield glass through which u have to see outside day and night.

Since when did this forum start accepting indecent and suggestive conversation?

Buddy, I am not sure about the model and all. I just took my friend along (who got it done on his SX4) and asked the showroom guy to put the same exact films.

Pros:
-Car looks really mean with a slightly tinted front glass.
-Majority of heat comes in the car through the front glass, so it helps keeping the heat out which is very helpful in Delhi atleast.

Cons:
-A very very slight drop in visibility that you only notice in the night.

I felt the pros are worth ignoring that one small con (totally my opinion), so I got it done.

Cheers

ya the car is looking damn good with the tint. but i remember i had driven friends car with film in the front, and i got damn irritated with the visibility at dawn say around 6-7 o clock when it is neither dark nor day, with half the vehicles with light on and rest not.

My Swift is to be delivered on Wednesday !!

Hi !

I too shall have to start on a Swift - VDIL soon.

I am to get the delivery on Wednesday - So I have been told.

Most of the gear will be from my old Swift - Vxi. Transferred here.

However, I was keen on trying the same bass loading as my wife's I-10
Sealed - Isobarrik - 2 Carbon IM 12's.
But my current boxes will go to waste. That is what I am worried about.

Yes, as I said you can definitely feel the slight difference in visibility in the evening/night. But what you felt in your friend's car may also be because of the film being too dark or also the quality of the film.

Cheers

Hi !

You are most welcome for a demo.

The I10 & RS are already there - if you so wish to listen.

The Swity will be delivered to me on Wednesday.

It will take me 2 weeks to get the install completed.

The Noise Kill - Damping will take a really long time.
I need to do all 4 doors + boot + all pillars etc.

There after the audio install will start.

I shall try and document all that is being done.
This time I may cut the A & B Pillars & install the MB Quart - Q Line - There. Not so sure as yet. Still working on it.
Actually I was keen to sell the Q Lime & buy the Morel Supremo - but am not able to sell the Q Lines here.

Let me see how things pan out.

I may start a new thread to cover the install.

Thats one nice install. The best part being placement of the Tweeters, I wasn't aware that the A pillar has that much space to accommodate the tweeter. This seems to be better than placing them on doors as that has issues during rains.

I forgot - you have listened to my wife's car in my office.

Sorry.

Thanks for Tarun's contact. I installed the 9887 [Alpine].

This Swift I will try and do a good job on.......

Sir, I do not do this commercially.

However, if you want to get a Box done - please do call on me.
We will sit together & get it made.
As per the driver spec & reasonably good quality. You will only pay for actual material and labour. I am serious !!!

Anytime....
