The Cost of the seat is 3 weeks time.

They are custom made to my body / structure.
Leather is Napa - Italian.
The cost is not important. The biggest problem is to follow up with the 'bum' that makes it. Very Very irresponsible & has no sense of time.
Will wait for that thread.

Bhagwan, how have you mounted your tweeters? They seem to be on some metal clamp. Does that come with the tweeter or you got them custom made as well?

Bhagwan, it looks like the total cost of the aftermarket accessories including the ICE on your chariot will cost more than the chariot itself!

Did you start with a pre-determined list of things you wanted to do with the car once you got it? I am sure that your warranty is out of the window. Is this going to be your only vehicle? I am floored by everything except the mounting of the tweeters. I hope you do something about them. Your swift will rock (literally).

I do not like the Tweeter position either......
I will try it like this and then see what I can do to improve on it. This is an experiment.

What use is a Warranty ?
Maruti is cheap & easy to fix.
If **** happens, it can be replaced.

Just for 1 / 2 / 3 years of warranty, why should I compromise on the things that give me pleasure.

My cars are hardly driven. I self drive & that too 18 km a day - 5 days a week.
This is the car I use to go to work in.

With regards to my ICE - I am an out & out SQ person. My set up never plays more than 90 dB in any case.

cheers:

'B' : Ref the Kicker distribution block snap.

The power wires are very close to the RCAs of one of the STEGs.

What are the chances of the power wires introducing some noise/whine via the RCA cables?

Full Chance.

It is not correct.

But, there were not too many other options available.
I could have opened the Steg & reversed the top plate & installed it in a way thet both the power inputs [left & right] came next to ech other with the Kicker in the centre.
However, I decided against it.

Interesting observation.
I am happy to note that some one studies the pictures well;
Keep it up !

Security and SWWS install?

Bhagwan, one (might be trivial) observation regarding the STEG amps placed on a tray. Dont you think thats too "in-the-eye" kind of setup? I mean, is it not too tempting and inviting for someone to break into? I hope you have adequate security measures in place?

Did you consider any other altenative arrangements?I particularly liked the amp placement in your previous Swift or even the i-10 (IIRC, back of the rear seat?). Isnt that more stealth, and hence safer?

Another question - if space is a constraint regarding the sub (esp w.r.t your i-10 install), have you considered "Spare Wheel Well Subwoofer Install" at any point? I never see you mentioning that option ever. Reason?

Why? As long as the electricals are not being tampered with Maruti has no reason to "de-warrant" the car.
