And our Lucky Phaji is giving full offer that no one can take out the amp with proper tools (pana, phehkas, plas). If someone can do it with his bare hands he is free to take the amp for free.

Zucchero; that under seat fitting is a neat idea. Lets see what other options I have.

Ahhhh, eeet begins!

Neat setup, Zucchero! Best under-seat amp placement I've seen. I'm sure it does not get very dusty as it is off the floor.

Folks, JK might need space for one more driver between the midbass & tweeter, heh, heh

Budget install? Let's see, let's see *evil grin*

Ah, a 3 way. Sure needed for the Safari since the distance between the midbass and tweeter locations is too much.
By any chance, u sold ur hertz' to JKD?

installing a 3 way is difficult in safari.the only easy way and highly recomendable (sq) is to make a custom fiberglass panel and mount tweeters and midrange together at the A pillar but the only drawback is you will loose most of your midbass since they are only 6.5"ers.you can compensate this problem with tunning from your crossovers(assuming they have db points) or go active.

Translations for our brothers from the South.

Pana = Spanner

Phehkas (said in true Punju style) or Pechkas = Screwdriver

Plas = (I hope you are sitting down for this one)
Plas= Pliers

JK

the under seat fitment of amps displayed by Zucchero is nice and it also helps when u have to flatten the rear seat,u dont have to take the cables out etc.

everything is fixed for ever.

it also gives enough air for amps to breate well.

another way is to take a jump seat out and put a board there for amps.

OK, leave your car outside - I thank you in advance for gifting your Stegs, bhot bhot mehrbani, janaab! Just make sure you leave the doors unlocked (I don't want to spoil your doors) and tie your dog inside the house (I don't want to wake you up unnecessarily). Leave the DLS 3-ways also in the dickey - since you are not using them.

Oh, and can I take the RCA cables and the PXA as well?

I will be ICEing the beast mid November since I have an option to get a new HU.

Issue: I want a DVD HU.

Budget: 15K max

What I have in mind : Panasonic CQ-D1703N

Its features:
  • MP3/WMA/DVD player
  • MOS-FET high power amp (50W x 4 max.)
  • Dolby Digital decoder (2-channel downmix)
  • SQ3 (3-Band Sound Quality)
  • DVD-R/RW1 playback
  • GIGA MP3 (allows MP3 files to be played from DVD)
  • MP3 playback from CD-R/RW discs
  • DiVX playback
  • 18 FM and 6 AM presets with preset scan
  • CD Changer Control
  • 3 x 2.5V preamp-outs (front, rear, subwoofer)
  • Spectrum analyzer
  • 1 Set of AV-Out (RCA)
  • Digital Audio Output (Optical) for Dolby Digital / dts 1-DIN Size
  • AUX input (for external source)
  • Removable full front panel
The things in bold are the plus points. I havent auditioned it in any car but have heard it being played pretty loud in an Innova with stock speakers. It was neat.

Now, what are my other options? I can source HU from DXB by Nov.

My speakers would be from Hydra's Palio
My amps would be my old Pio 4 channel and mono.
