Well if you want to concentrate only on the front part, definetely go for front comps.

Some of the comps I came across were out of balance, with high pitched treble getting into your ears, especially with pioneer HU's (dont know if it was the HU or the comps fault as most of the comps I heard were driven off by a pioneer). So pay attention to the ones you're buying and get a demo prior to the installation, it'll save you alot of tuning time later on.

By the way, if you're looking for a punchy bass, go for a 10" sub. Go for the 12" if you're into low bass (rap and hip hop).

Hey, am planning to buy just the JVC HU with the USB option online from sonicelectronix, it comes to some 11K, as not many 2 DINS have front USB option. Kenwood DPX 5110 has one but not available online.
Whats ur take.
