Gurus please help me bulid an enclosure to house 2 nos 15" DVC JBL subwoofers. So far the sound is ok...but ur advice will be very helpful.Should i go and buy from the market or shud i do it myself?

OT: You're running them with a 1-ohm stable amp?
Which one is it?

I am running them on a JBl GTO 601.1 mono amp.

quick question what amp? what car? how much space are you willing to give up? and exact model number of the sub(s). you can buy the boxes there are some pretty good ones available from local manufacturers. all dependent on what you're looking for. jbl themselves have a few excellent enclosures available for twin subs off the shelf. but if you are willing to spend the time and energy it is very possible to build one. @kedarwalke, have a look at @bhagwan's i10 sub installation with 2 Illusion subs. Since you already have two subs, you could try making a sub cabinet like that. That type is bound to give you real good punch in the smallest box size. Navin can help out with calculating the box volume from the T-S parameters of the subs.

DA,

1. There are websites and freeware which can help design the correct box size.

2. The subs in Bhagwan's car are unique. If you are using subs with traditional Ferrite magnets I would suggest a more conventional Isobarik configuration. It will take less space.

3. Isobarik subs offer the same quality of bass for half the box volume but they also need twice the power and becuase Sd is that on only one sub they will go as loud as only one sub and not 2. There is no free lunch but if space is a concern and power is avaiable isobariks are a great option.

1. Navin, that was not to put load on you, but ...:D
2. B and all his stuff are unique. Period.:p
3. @kw has a JBL 601. With 2x15" in isobarik config, it will be decently excessive, if not insane, I suppose (definitely not LBM category). Hence the suggestion.

hmm me thinks that kedarbhai hasnt bought 2 huge 15inchers to go the isobaric way(i.e get the effect of only 1 sub )
kedar we awair your reply

Well Isobariks have Pros and Cons. If you are an SPL guy and have teh box volume then go ahead - stick the woofers in portred boxes.

Isobariks are usually used when box volume is an issue and the other tradeoffs (SPL, Power, etc..) are not important.
