OK I'm a little confused about this, so can someone provide me with a yes or no answer only please for the following question:

Is the pioneer 6050 2 din worth going for, over any other single din pioneer (5 series or 7 series), only in terms of SQ?

Thanks!

SQ of the Pioneer 6050 2 DIN is just same as its single DIN counterpart. The 2 DIN is purely for "the looks" and to fill the 2 DIN slot on the dash.

More technical information on 'Digital listening position selector' and 'Time alignment' is also welcome.
I doubt this headunit will have Time Alignment for this price. And if it does, I will leave everything to get myself one

I dont think so. However, you could easily pick up a regular USB connector form any Apple reseller/ local electronics store which fits into the USB connector to the HU. I've done this and have full control over the ipod- including shuffling the songs!

Re: Pioneer FH-P6050UB 2DIN

Sorry to revive such a primitive thread, was going through the pioneer India website when i saw that this head-unit is still available brand new.
Pioneer FH-P6050UB
Almost 3-4 years and is it still in demand.
Also has anyone tried to do a software update or something of that kind on this head-unit.
I currently own this head unit and was looking for a change. I think i better stay with this one as it suits my needs.
