WHINING SOUND - Pioneer HU - Any Help ?

Hi friends,

This thing has started happening with my Esteem ( Pioneer HU) and the best part is apart from Alternator Whining // the A/c Fan Speed Noise ( goes like WHHOOOOOOOOO ) other than I can even hear my cars Horn coming from speakers even the Indicator ( tick tick) but sometimes all of a sudden it just VANISHES.
can anyone advise me where to get my system checked ? Since I am new to Pune , so need a reliable guy who can service the Pioneer HU in my presence ? full address & contact number will be highly appriciated
what to do ? upon replacing the headunit with a new HU , the sound doesnt come but when i put in my old HU back the sound returns..... any ideas what to do ?
cant afford to put in a new system as I plan to put in a DVD along with a screen......
Thanks - P4C

Buddy, it's to do with the install and the wiring. Search the forum and there are many threads for this issue and possible solutions.

I installed somekind of a 'rectangular tubelight choke' kind of thing for 600 bucks and the whining sound went away.

Cheers,

My very limited knowledge

Simple first steps:

Is your power cable and RCA/other cable running together from the same side? Separate them to opposite sides.

Check the earthing, should be done very properly.

There're many threads already discussing this on the forum. Why don't you try a search first (You'll be amazed by the results, I guarantee) and read thru those?
