Thanks guys. It feels nice to have one's setup appreciated! Lot of thought and effort went into finalizing it, so I am happier now!

Great setup dude. Congrats once again.

Cheers
It was nice meeting you Arvind! Glad you liked my setup and I am guilty as charged for swaying your decisions!

Do post your finalized list on the forum for some creative debate!

I accidentally stumbled across this display mode when I pressed a wrong button on the remote! Could not get this through the HU. And I was really wanting to have this mode, since time is an essential thing for me to have on the HU.

Use the DISP button on the remote. It has various options.

Maybe it looks big in pictures, but in reality, its quite small. Infact, it hardly visible from outside! And yes, the finish is good. The dual colour tone looks good.

@ nishant - the angle at which you have clicked the pics does make the enclosure look a bit large. It's 33 liters if I'm not mistaken. Much better than the previous "GOD"-send.

Would love to listen to your setup once I'm back.

@ Nishant - that enclosure looks well finished. Now that the sub has seen so many enclosures, maybe you could pen down your thoughts on each one's influence over the sound.

And even i want a listen whenever it's convenient for you.

Yes the enclosure is ~1 cuft, although looks a bit large because of the angle. Much better than the ~1.3 cuft God-sent beefed up enclosure.

Audition whenever you say Sir! Need to clarify a few doubts about TA also with you.

I would say the bass is the best with the current enclosure. Frank's enclosure was nice, but missed the mark by some tiny, unexplained bit. Maybe it was because of the shape or the mounting of the sub. But I feel with this enclosure, there is much tighter bass and it seems well gelled in. Not boomy/vague at all.

My previous 'grand sized enclosure' was constructed and sealed well. But it was quite big for the specs of the GZ sub. Now that I have a smaller enclosure, I have a reference point to compare my previous enclosure. Hence I can comment with confidence.

Thanks Abhinav.

No more upgrades planned right now. I am enjoying the music and want to spend lots of time with it to be able to diagnose whether I actually need any further upgrades.

Maybe in a new car - maybe after a few months!
