@TOR- There are many audio installers in this place called Nehru Stadium . The two most famous shops in that area are:-

1. R.M. DECORS:
RM Cars - Home ;

2. STADEUM:
Address : No: 36, Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore - 641 018, Tamil Nadu.
Phone : 0422 - 2303560, 2380663, 4391923
Mobile : 98430 - 11223
Contact person : Mr. Niyas

( I recommend STADEUM , since its quite cheaper compared to others)

Another famous place is Kit Up( not in Nehru Stadium):

KitUp! Automotive

If you need more info . PM me.

I second that any day Karan. Sun Combines is more of a "Do it all" accessory shop that used to specialize in sun control film fitting and then branched out to audio and now upholstery, wheels and tyres etc.

Out of the two, Stadeum (Nazeer) is old school, knows his stuff and is a bit laid back. You might find him a bit too quiet if you talk about very high end installs, but like I said, he knows his stuff well.

Vasif (RM) on the other hand, is the new kid in the block and is flamboyant, deals with all latest brands, more of an SPL guy who caters for the college kids in town.

That's just my observation of both, I can be wrong as each individual can have a different experience and different expectations out of the audio setup.

well Vasif at RM has the image of being an SPL guy. and if you want to go all flashy with custom painted fibre installs etc. but of late he has been getting into some good SQ installs as well. ask your friend to go by the shop at the stadium and check it out.

Vasif is the guy you should go to. His installs are neat and one of the best I have ever seen.

Thanks to mallumowgli for referral via Mr. Christopher to RM Decors. Thanks to the forum. Like minded folks in here and helping others in the forum to get genuine sellers/buyers/hotels/roads and mallumowgli was at RM Decors yesterday afternoon at around 3 pm to help me out.

We got the ICE installed for my Dad's Alto LXI. 12k - alpine HU + auditor speakers. Nice install. 2 hrs. Met Vasif and had a long chat with him. He is into new stuff these days and split his shop and getting into home theatre stuff. I have the car/phone-numbers if anyone needs please pm me. Launching 21st. As I went around the stadium I found so many of the car interior shops. No wonder audio shops have to look for alternative businesses. But with the October sales figures these shops can still co-exist in the area I feel.

Btw, mallumowgli is on his way to Bandipur for the extended weekend. Looking forward to TL, photos in the travel sub-forum.

Re: Audio installer-at Coimbatore?

I had a bad experience with Nazeer from Stadeum for the audio install for my car. First of all the place is too crowded, those guys are really laid back and do not take enough care. They sub-contact the wood work and the outcome is a gamble. Even after spending 2-3 days with them the audio setup was not according to my need, I had to come back unsatisfied because I had no more time to spare.

Re: Audio installer-at Coimbatore?

I found there are many Car dealers on Mettupalayam Road near Thudiyalur. There are some workshops also there. But I did not see any Car decor shop or car audio shops. How do the Coimbatore team bhpians' feel for a need for one shop in that area.
