ICE Upgrade - The mono goes in!

Right then,

The existing set-up is polk comps and the 8" sealed sub running of the 4 channel Lightning Audio 300.4 amp and the 6x9 in the rear running of the HU.

I just got myself a JBL GT5-A3001 mono for the sub and should be getting it fitted in the next couple of days. mono specs are 175 RMS @ 4 ohms, 225 @ 2 ohms and 300 @ 1 ohm. Normal impedance on the sub is 4 ohms and peak handling is 360W.

Before I get the installation done, any words of advice? I shall post pics and post-installation pics in a few days!

Cheers all!

Congratulations!
One piece of advice, get it installed by a good installer. That's all what makes a big difference in the world of ICE by a huge margin.

Enjoy!

Makanaka , I'd suggest you not to go with what others say. But rather audition the things yourself.

It's your ears which will decide what kind of music it likes and not others reviews
