My Angel - Swift VXI White ICE'd

Hi All

Got my Swift ICE'd after 5 months of buying it. Was confused on what to buy as there are so many brands discussed here. Finally it bores down to the fact that what sounds good to one's ears.

Well, so finally after listening to lots of 'Sounds' I finalised on something that could play 'music' for my ears.

Here's the list:

1. Pioneer 3050 HU

Reason: USB, AUX, Plays scratched CD's better than other players. I saw Error on Sony, Blaupunkt HU's while trying to playthe same cd.

2. Soundstream front Composites:
Soundstream | Products » Components » Tarantula Series

Reason: Compared to Fusion, JBL, Blaupunkt, Sony - These sounded awesome. Awesome punch, no vibrations whatsoever. Crisp and clear.

3. Polk Audio Rear Speakers:

Reason: Very good sound, no vibrations, no jarring, pure music.

Again all these sounded good to my and my Wify's ears.

Next Upgrade:

Lightning Audio Woofer 12" or 15" < Any other suggestions>
JBL 4 - Channel Amplifier < Is mono block in order?>

No pics while installation was going on as it was very sudden.

We went for a drive and ended up shopping in a mall , bought a 8GB pen drive. Came across Infiniti Car Accesories. Went to checkout the options. Ended up installing the ICE.

Also, Got Llumar Air 75 installed on front windshield.

8GB pen drive

Inder Bhai,

This is way off topic, but I wanted to buy an 8GB pen drive to connect to my ICE (theres your connection!), current 2 GB is way too small. Could you tell me how much you bought the 8GB thingy for?

arindambasu,

8GB Transend USB drive & 8GB Sandisk is 1099 bucks in the "STAR Mall - Tata Enterprise" next to Acropolis apartments in Koramangala

Maybe it will be lesser in grey market.

1.Transend USB drive had a lifetime warranty
2. It is really small and handy

1. 8GB Sandisk had 2 years warranty
2. It is large & wider than the transend.

Thanks!

Nitrous and Inder Bhai,

Thanks, 1100 should be accomodated within my budget. Makes sense to buy an 8GB rather than a 4GB for ICE, methinks

Told them as I will be coming there for Sub + Amp later, they better give discount generously.

Also had some work for my bimmer - Upgrade wheels to 17" with Yokohoma Advan Sportz tires etc..
< This upgrade will be done next year - only 2 months away >

Any suggestions from experts on the above mentioned stuff?

Is the Woofer good enough?
Which one's good for this setup? monoblock or 4 -ch Amp?

My requirement is excellent Bass Effect without vibration

front and rear speakers can be driven via the 4 channel amp. What about the Sub?Are you planning to power any of the speakers via the HU and the rest via the Amp?

I am no expert but if you want EXCELLENT bass effect, you go for a mono block amp setup for the sub-woofer and leave your front and rear speakers to the existing Amplifier.

And yes, where is this Infiniti?
