no one knows much about jensen products i presume. ive seen a jensen dvd player at my mamas place in london and it looked quite chinese in appearance. the usual plasticky controls, cheap remote control and flimsy build. its better to pay a little bit more and get something more reliable. id suggest you skip this, unless you can ship it to us everytime for its warranty. not recommended.

Yeah I think it's like buying a Chinese Nokia Ripoff phone. Some people get by and don't mind it at all, but for someone who likes quality, it would suck.

Jensen used to be a decent brand in the 70s. No Peter Jensen did NOT invent the loudspeaker (Ernst Siemens did ) nor was he second (Oliver Lodge was), third (John Stroh). In fact what we commonly use today (dynamic loudspeaker) resembles the work of Rice and Kellogg.

Jensen today is owned by Audiovox and the products are quite down market.

For 700-800, you will get good pio or kenwood units. for 1,000 you will get it with GPS & a hard drive as well. Check out the other models in the same site. After all, your RS deserves it.
