Bull + kenwood > DDIS and GETZ

Well finally got my ICE done in my Swift ddis bought last week.I had the ICE done in my old car,so i got it transfered as its just a few months old. This is my temp install,i want to upgrade soon.

List of the current equipment

>Bull audio :Cs650.75 front components
>Bull audio :Esw-12 sub woofer with enclosure
>Audison wiring : Sonus series power cable, ground wire,BT series RCA's and speaker, sub wire (Got a deal on a bit used wiring)
>Kenwood: 8401 amp
>Kenwood 6539 HU
>Audison distibution block ( for future upgrade)
>Damping

Install was done at DRIVEN,East of Kailash,A place to go when Jugaad is not an option, pretty experienced installers seen them done quite a number of cars. They like to do a proper job, with proper place ment, cutting and fitting of wire's etc,Hidden wires is the best part in the installs.Pretty happy with the installations

Components are pretty good for the price,The have sufficent midbass, the tweets are sweet kind of laid back.If one is not a chan chan fan these are a good option,The mid bass is tight, vocals are clear.VFM stuff.

Sub is decent,For people who like kick.SQ oriented kind of sub is quick and responsive,Doesnt boom alot.plays nice tight and clean

Hu is AWSOME for the price has all standard freatures + the lights and the display.I really really like the HU for the price.

Amp the small little thing is very power full, does its job pretty well,The output is amazing one steal deal at 5k,Its a good sounding VFM amp.

The tweets are places temporarly will be shifted soon, tuning is awaited as well. Here are some pic's

Congrats...so whens the custom projectors coming for the DDiS

Also good thing you got the damping sheets, it makes a big difference, so many other DDiS owner have commented. Im talking about cutting out noise... not about the rattles ! Hehehe.

Hmmm custom lamps..leme think.. ..sooon very soon

Yes the damping is a must,The door even feels better after damping and no rattles for now,The damping expense is one down side of getting a swift,my friend who got the getz got away w/o need for damping

Btw i still need suggestions for tweeter placement

Congrats Pal.

Can you post the price break up of the stuffs used/bought.

How much of a difference did you feel when you compare the ICE in Getz and Swift. Want to know how it felt with different HU.

Well the HU's do make a difference, the PIO seems to be emphasizing on Treble's and bass, the mid, vocals seems a bit left out.

On the other hand Kenwoods bring up the vocal's and the mid more, the tweets play a bit laid back more opens thats the reason i had earlier shifted to Kenwood after a Pio.

But GETZ being a better car for ice the imaging is much better compared to swift,And the damping factor helps to reduce costs or utilize the money on other upgrades.

Price's

Bull compo's > 5.5k
Kenwood 6539 > 9990
Pioneer 5050> 6700
Bull wiring> 2400
Kenwood 8401 >5k

Are you guys in the habit of daily upgrades? If so then what is the equipment planned for a few days later?

I would say its more of a disease. . The bug is never too far away in case you are by chance on the road to recovery. A peek into the Sound-off section here gets you going again.

Congrats on the new car ! and hopefully an upgrade soon !!

Bull-kenwood combo- One of the best SQ combos for those on a budget. I think for 20-25K odd one cant do better.

Congrats, Noidaboy! Enjoy the sound.

The Bull Audio components have a revised price of 5.5k. They're one of the best in that price, no doubt. But it was an amazing buy in it's earlier price.

Congrats Noidaboy, for the car and ICE!!

I agree that Kenwood is much better in terms of vocals, mid and is better SQ compared to Pioneer.
