Ground Zero or JBL

I am going for JBL 1004 amp
now I am confused about the sub.
Should i go for the GZTW 38T or JBL GTO1502D.
Im lookin for a SPL setup and not SQ.
Will the JBL dual voice coil make much of a difference.

He wants SPL na Panky bhai.

Get 2 - 12" GT5 in a ported box. To start with... from then you can climb the BassBin as you progressively lose hearing

Is the JBL 1502D a decent sub and is paying almost double the amount for a GZ 12XS-AL SVC worth it.

Do you have space constraints too?
If not, get 2 of those 1502D!
It will only cost as much as 1 GZ 12XS na?

And normally, each and every person who comes to our ICE section has a constrained budget. Within a few posts and time, he will be sitting with his head confused and a WIIIIIIIIIDE budget!

Zak bhai well said. That is the sole reason my ICE installation is pending. Because what I like, I don't want to spend. What I want to spend (first instalment), I don't like *that* much.

PS: Auditioning is a sureshot way to be more confused for n00bs

One option would be to get a monoblock amp that can supply the 400W (RMS) needed by this sub to run at its true potential.
Many options out there - JBL, Ground Zero, Alpine to name a few. Would suggest your friend visits some good accessory stores in town like Glix and Wheels to see what's available locally. Else contact guys on the forum (like Bass&Trouble) to see what they can suggest.

And by the way, there are a few GZ setups in Kolkata. You can get in touch with XetaGLGRocks, shuvc, shuvd and vrooooooom and get more details about their ICE.
