By the way I also found one more woofer Ultimate T1-120 - 600W. They was qoating 1600. Any Idea on this woofer. Its a Canadian make.

I went for SUB hunting this week again... But again confused. One shop told me that My Sony amp may not be able to handle High Out put so I need to put a smaller one,
Another shop was telling me that no prob it can handle any sub.
Real Confused. Please can you tell me ?
1. What is RMS ? What should be the resriction ?
2. What should be the Restriction for MY Sony XM-504Z Amp
3. Any Idea on Philips SUB.

Thanks.

Ummm. The sub should be rated in the range of 100 w rms either side for it to run on full potential.

I'd suggest get the amp changed too.
would help you a lot.

If I join both the Output then can I put 200W RMS ? At Present I dont wanna invest more on my car. And a avg music system/quality will fulfill my requirement as I Dont like loud music.

Hertz and JBL subs are both good.
However i would prefer the JBL CS1204(go for the one which has 1000/1100 watts printed on it. not the GT-5 one i.e 1200W) , your sony amp can easily power it. Stay away from Philips, ultimate etc.
