Hi,

I am planning for an Upgrade for my current setup, which i am not very much satisfied of...

My current Setup

HU :- Pio 3050UB
Front : JBL 607 C
Rear : Hertz ECX 165.3 coax.
Sub : JBL 1204T
Amp1:- JBL 75.4 Powering the Sub and the front comps
Amp2 :- JBL A 402 Powering the rear coax.

My requirements

A good upgrade to the SUB. which should give tight and accurate Bass.

A good HU with importance to SQ.
Is it worth the money to upgrade to Higher end HU like Alpine with my current Speaker Setup?

My Budget for the upgrade including Sub and HU would be 20000/-

Will damping the Front doors and Boot help in improving the SQ?

please:

I'd say :

Sub : Ground Zero XS-AL - 12k
HU : Pio 6050 - 7-8k ( not too sure )

Damping would definitely help your case . It will give you a tighter and more accurate base and would help you with the SQ as well.

Option 1: Sub- iD Max for 15k and HU - Pioneer 5050 for 6K
Option2: Sub: GZTKW MK2 for 5.5k, HU - Pioneer 5050 for 6k and Compo - Illusion Electra6.1 -
I would definitely suggest for damping for a great experience.

Will Upgrading to a higher grade HU like the Alpine CDA 9884E/ 9886 Help with the current speaker setup in improving the SQ substantially?

I suggest a good mid level sub in a sealed box should meet your requirements. maybe a gz 12" mk2. The 75.4 will complement it well. And damp the boot totally. Also damping the doors well will make a difference to the quality of the midbass of the components. A new hu will not make a big difference if you are going to play only mp3s. You will be better off getting the sub in a properly constructed sealed enclosure. And that should suffice. No need to upgrade the hu unless you play only expensive original well recorded cds
