Lets hope they are priced correctly. I always find alpine products overpriced.

New for 2009 > Alpine iDA series

Two more Alpine models announced for 2009: iDA-X303 and iDA-X305

Seem to be improved versions of the current models.

Cheers!

Kenwood vs JVC vs Pioneer

Hi,

Normally in double din units the focus is on features like dvd playback, ipod connectivity, and in some cases navigational facilities,

but if you want an exceptional sound quality as well (as best as possible), then which brand is more trustworthy or which unit is loaded - kenwood/ JVC/alpine/clarion or pioneer, or some other,

Although the CES in vegas is about to happen which should bring in some new products, i hope some exciting stuff lands up in India too, a combo of satnav and dvd playback - the whole package,

Cheers

Pioneer's new lineup revealed at CES (from Engadget):

Pioneer rolls out new in-car lineup: CD players, amps, speakers, oh my! - Engadget

Warning: It reads a lot like a canned corporate press release *yawn*

My wife loved that. Are those buttons tactile or touch screen. Tactile is so much easier to use in a moving car.

Look at Pio HU. Looks very toyish and low priced. Their remote is a joke when you compare with the JVC one.
