Hi Guys,

I am getting new ICE(TOUCHSCREEN WITH ALL THE WORKS) for my RS this weekend from the U.S. I was wondering where I can get this fixed as I want a very professional job done with no scratches or rattles on my dash after the install. Can you guys suggest any places in Chennai where they do a professional job(good and clean install)?

Is it just a Head Unit change?

Yes its a headunit change over. Got carried away calling it ICE but would be open to other options like a good sub and amp and other goodies.But the main job would be the headunit since the new one will be a motorized screen.

Metal Effects is another place, never gone there but heard he does a good job

Most of my cars go to metal effects but everytime I step in there even if its for a tune up I get a bill for about 15-20k which is crazy. Will probably try technokrat.

15-20k for a tune up? Are you serious? I've never heard anything of this sort before.

15-20k not only for a tune up. I walk in for a tune up and something else is forced onto me(literally). And everything is so expensive there.

I can think of only one person - One Mr. Mark of Stage99who came very highly recommended to me by a friend, and seemingly is a great audiophile, sound engineer with a very very good sense of acoustics.
I was going to drive down all the way to Chennai from mysore, but am really caught up right now, so dumped the plan for the time being.

Isnt Teknocrat at Mahalingapuram next to the Ayyappan Temple ? I was told that the guy who owns the store had worked for Deepak Asrani (of Overdrive fame) earlier. I do know for a fact that Chennai's best cars head there for ICE.

guys can u tell me where is TEKNOCRAT located exactly in chennai & i heard about HAUTE CAR ZONE in Old mahabalipuram road in chennai..how are their services and their product costs...are they reasonable..did anyone had a visit???
