That's the one I have in my OHC. Bought it for about 15k almost 2 years back, prices may have come down.

i knew that from shrivz car, the audison srx5. id seen it before, but there are many amps that actually have a dedicated channel/channels for a center speaker or a center channel. im too lazy to go google them but im quite sure ive seen something like that coupled with some sort of DSP to make it into an ACTUAL 5.1 surround setup for watching movies/tv and listening to 5.1 source music in cars. correct me if im wrong.

Sorry. I thought that the query refered to the basic 5 ch. amps. Then ofcourse for you a Genesis is a basic amp and the Audison Vrx is something you use as a standby.

My mom wanted bass in her car (NHC-CVT). I told her that you cant have bass unless you have a subwoofer and an amp. She allowed me ONE amp so I got her the 755.6. While the 755.6 might not compare to the better amp it is good VFM. I believe it has been discontinued along with the 75.4.

I'm positive it wasn't discontinued along-with the 75.4; must have been later (if it has). I know since I ended up buying the 755.6 because the 75.4 had been discontinued.

I'm using the 755.6 to drive a JBL CS1204B subwoofer, Hertz Components in the front and coaxial's in the rear. I'm not SPL oriented so am quite satisfied with it - gives a fast & decent punch.

So, you're right that-ways .. at 13k it's great VFM.

Maybe. All I know is that the current 5ch. from JBL is the 5355.

No she wanted some bass in her car not bas like many here define it. She borrowed my Octy a couple of days and she felt her stereo was lacking body. We narrowed it down to lack of a sub. Now she is after me to upgrade her stereo.

Saw this option of jbl5355 too late. already paid for another brand for 11k. will give its review and model after install. i just hope its power atleast matches its fuse rather than what is mentioned on its cover.

giigy, you can mention other brands on this forum. At 11k for a 5 ch amp it should be a good buy.

i too have been tempted to buy the crunch line of amps since a long time but have desisted because i wasnt too sure about the brand. but just recently i learnt that the company that produces crunch amplifiers, also produces hifonics and mbquart amplifiers. maxxsonics is a decent brand, and considering they have 2 respectable brands in their umbrella, must be having some quality standards. i feel you will be very happy with the crunch because it will exceed you low expectations by a large margin!

I just hope so. all i need is 50w rms x4 and 200w rms x1 in one package at 4 ohms each. because of connections at opposite side in most of the amplifiers i have only one location to fix a amp.

Due to a change of luck getting a hifonics zxi 8006 for 13500.
The only issue known for this model is it needs good cooling as the heatsinks around are small to be driven at full potential.
