Noidaboy what about SQ? Also, are there any alternative to Bull, keeping in mind that I mostly listen to fast tracks.

Cheers

I think you are talking about build quality ? If yes, cannot comment about the quality but i am sure its good.

I think SQ of 845 and 8401 is same!

Alternatives to Bull
1. JBL power series
2. Rainbow SLX
3. Infinity Kappa
4. Hertz Energy

Your budget sure is going for a toss. Good luck

Alternative to BULL? Umm.. another BULL would do?

Anyways you can audition first and then select what ever you feel is right for you. Abhibh has mention the list. Not too many options under the 6K bracket (with b/w)

I am not getting KAC 8401 anywhere.

KAC 8404 (replaced the 840X series) is too expensive and I do not know the SQ.

Is there any other comparable amp (with good SQ) vis a vis 8401?

Cheers

Other amps in the range are Blau GTA4 MK2 - 6K and the JBL GT5-A604 - 6-7K

What is the price of Kenwood 8404 ?

adityamunshi, 8404 is 10K. Any idea if the SQ will justify the price?

No way !! You can get better amps for 10K and the 8404 is 50 W x 4 RMS unlike the 8401 which was 60 W x 4.
