What are you referring to by "IDE"?

IDE = In Dash Exciter? :-) in which case we can assume it means HU.

Allocate about 10K for damping, wiring and labour for install
HU with 3 pre outs and TA: 14K
Amp: 7K
Front/Rear Speakers: 12K
Sub with box: 7K

In my view getting TA and being able to 'bring the sub to the front' is one option one should aim to do if one can afford it (read as 'spending upwards of 14K for a HU').

The other part of the system that is often over looked is a well made, non-resonant subwoofer box.

Lastly please use your ears. Amps speakers and HUs differ a lot in their sonic character.

DerAlte, I think that must be a typo or probably he meant "In Dash Equipment - HU"

Couldn't agree more with Navin Ji.
However i think its better to have 10k for the amp
To get the JBL GTO 1004e. Atleast a good amp in a 50k setup.

Do audition setups before
12k for speakers means you can get illusion / jbl compos and 3-way coaxials.

14k for a hU means Alpine is the way to go.
7k for sub and box means Ground Zero Entry Level sub.

I think Eclipse 3200 might be a good buy at that price range, if he can source it.

Eclipse 3200 doesnt have TA i think. If not stuck up on TA, Kenwood 6539U / BT7539U is a awesome choice. better than Pio's for SQ.

The Alpine 9887 is available for 15k in national market, Bangalore if you can live with grey market stuff.

Sorry my bad, 7200 mkII has TA, and it is pretty expensive. Me too looking for a HU with TA for my next upgrade.

TA means Time Alignment. Basically it compensates for the differing distances of different speakers from your seat.

For car shops, I would recommend Evo in Cambridge Layout. Other shop which has a good reputation on TBHP is Anwar's in Koramangala.

I have the JBL Power Series comps and they are really awesome for the price (10.5k). Much better than the Polk or Illusion.
