PS: I too bought from the clearance sale. What i wanted was not available, and what i got was at 20% discount instead of the claimed 25%....

okay. A friend of mine who wanted hertz stuff called up SSPL and they said they're not doing hertz, and tried to sell him JL Audio.

So who is the hertz distributor now ????

It's Kumar's Auto seems to be the new distributors I guess, saw their advertisement in Autocar a month back ,but it's not mentioned in their website.

100% right Kumar is doing Hertz. If anyone is calling them please enquire what stock they are keeping.

Sprocket has a wide selection - I don't know their installation skills.

used to be around 15k. no idea how much the new price point is

Sprocket installers have basic skills only, which means YOU have to keep an eye on their tendency to cut / splice / tape wires. They have no clue about tuning the system.

It was a Jun 2008 stock (MRP 13.6K), he showed the new one, 2009 stock which retails close to 14.6K.

I somehow wanted to get that, hence could'nt bargain much, ultimatley settled for 12.5K with bill and warranty clap:
