Guys,

Strange strange problem. The amp that powers the sub SIMPLY REFUSES to power on when I start the car for the 1st time in the morning. After about 1 hour or so, when I check again it works like a charm.

Took the car back to Ajay and he checked it too - didn't find anything. The problem persists.

What could be wrong ? The amp doesn't like cold starts or what ??

ps - Will surely post the pictures in a day or 2 but be warned there are only 5-7 pictures only.

Did you check the battery, is it holding voltage well, with overnight parking?

yes zak ICE has an effect on the FE of a vRs.
When you listen to it , You wanna revv less to reach the destination late and hence better FE.
No wonder my vRs is giving me 10-11
I thought it had a reverse effect. Good music/thump ensures the driver pedals to the metal resulting in lower FE

Did JBL start making wiring kits again? Cause the last time I heard they had stopped manufacturing and selling all types of wiring kits.

Yes - battery is good. It's a fairly new one - just about 6 months old.

How are both amps powered? through a distribution block ?
what gauge wiring are you running ?
Try pulling separate wiring from the battery to the amp.
disconnect "amp remote wire" and make it direct
get the amp checked?
Buy a new Amp
