Never thought I would be posting in this section, but here I am. The vRS is getting a upgrade in the ICE department. This is what is in right now,

Nothing really fancy - it's a normal boring (by T-BHP Ice standards )upgrade. Details will follow tomorrow with pictures.

He is putting his newly acquired Dash ki dhadkan in the humongous boot.

Sorry for the late update, was busy and enjoying the new sound.

The new setup is like this -

1. Head Unit – Alpine 9830
2. Front – JBL Compos – 607
3. Rear – Alpine SPE 13C2
4. Amps – JBL GTO 4000 & JBL GTO 2000
5. Sub woofer – JBL 1004T Bass Tube
6. HK Drive + Play - replaced with a functional HK Drive + Play
7. Noise kill for the front doors
8. Amplifier mount in the boot
9. 1 set of JBL wiring kit and 1 Illusion speaker cable + 2 RCA cables.

The work was done at Ajay's place - Hermit Audio. Very nice and very clean job - the amps mounted on the sides keep the boot space usable. We had a few problems of alternator noise / whine in the speakers (faulty cables) and the tuning took a lot of time too but Ajay was patient and didn't allow me to leave till he was satisfied.

I was present there for a short time in the morning and then in the evening and will post whatever pictures I have by tonight.

The setup sounds good to me though Ajay was (and is) bothered about the sub sounding "marela". That has got me thinking - these ICER's I say !!

After today i realised.
Whether it be a skoda or a honda or a tata, Damping does help.

yes zak ICE has an effect on the FE of a vRs.
When you listen to it , You wanna revv less to reach the destination late and hence better FE.
No wonder my vRs is giving me 10-11
