I Will Give You This Enclosure For 4k. You Can Give Me Rest Of 10k :D |
Arey by components i meant the whole system pricing individually. Including everything that got installed.
And i was just telling the price of the sub 14K.
This thread has turned out to be very confusing and teasing!

D2 can either run at 1ohm(parallel) or 4ohms(series).
Its a single sub Abhinav. So wats with parallel?
Sorry for my noobness

V3 is a dual voice coil sub, with each of its coil rated at 2ohms(since its a D2).
The coils can be wired either in series or in parallel depending upon the specifications of the amp.
Oh Thanks for the info. I guess it would be run on 4 ohm since i see no details on the ipaul power at 1 ohm.

Its running on 4 ohms as i said earlier.
There are 2 coils in IDV3 (2 ohm each).
Series Connection:
In a series connection you simply connect the positive terminal of
COIL 1 to positive terminal of the amplifier. Then you connect the negative terminal of
COIL 1 to the positive terminal of
COIL B. Then you connect the negative terminal of
COIL 2 to the negative terminal of the amplifier. The total impedance will be
4 ohm in the case of the above mentioned sub.
Parallel Connection:
In parallel connection the positive terminal of
COIL 1 & 2 are connected to the positive terminal of the amplifier and negative terminal of
COIL 1 & 2 are connected to the negative terminal of the amp. In this case the the total impedance is
1 OHM on amp.
notorious bhai
That's a pretty notorious setup u got. Love the comps n the sub n the amp n the wiring too.
cheers
