White Mischief got more Mischievous.

When we bought the car in June, I had only one option to choose from:
1) Tires & Rims
2) ICE

I decided to go ahead with Option 1.

After 5 months of listening music on my N82, I couldnt take any more. And decided its time to ICE the White M.
Since my ICE knowledge is not great, I refrained from starting a thread. And there are many many threads on Swift so it was pointless. ICE is like a quicksand, keeps sucking you down! My initial budget was 18k but being a Team-Bhpian, I ended up paying almost double. The setup was decided with the help of very few people like Navin, Sam, Ajay, Zak, Magma (i dont know where is he), Viddy and few more. Anytime after the Autocar Performance Show was the D-day.

Now the setup (very modest):

Head Unit - Panasonic CQ C7303N (Full On Rangeela HU)

Front Compos - JBL 608C

Rear fills - Alpine SPS 17C2

Amp - JBL 1004

Sub - JBL 1204BR

Bas. Thats it!

I had to increase my budget for amp and sub. I was thinking of A604 but learned it wont be sufficient to handle the things I want. So decided to go in for successor of 75.4 (am I right?) 1004. Other problem was sub. I dont think many members has 1204BR so asked few people around. Most of them said BR will be too much for a car like Swift. But I was bit ziddi and thought whatever it is I shall put BR if not happy I will change it. But it turned out to be the way I wanted.

Speakers, Amp, Sub was purchased from Sam and installed by Ajay, Hermit Audio.

I saw Amey's car, great great install, I loved those amp racks. And asked Ajay if same could be done for my car as well. It saves a lot of space and looks good too. Sadly at 18+ inches the 1004 is too long to fit in an amp rack. So it was stuck in the traditional way on the back seat.

I reached at Ajay's office pretty late, I think it was 4.30 pm or so. It was not possible to finish it before 9.30. For some reasons and rules, no car is allowed to come in or go out after 7 pm. So I left the car over there and picked it up next morning. But I left after the whole system came to life. I got somewhat peaceful sleep. What scared me was the headunit. When it came to life, it was changing colors, from red to green, blue to orange, white to PINK!!! Pink!!!???? I was literally It is a typical Gujarati HU!! Full Show off!! Next day I checked the MENU and found I could choose different colors.
Another very cool thing is in the background it keeps playing a Toyota F1's video on a track. And 2 cars drifting on the street.

Excellent install I must say. No kat kut just clean install. Sounds very good. The front doors are damped. I listen to Hip Hop, Rock, Hindi, Blues, Country, Celtic etc in short anything, depends upon the mood.

A special thanks to Navin, Ajay, Viddy and ofcourse Sameer!!
Here are some pics (install was done in November 08)

The speakers sit in the stock locations. Only visible are amp and sub.

I have the tool kit and spanner and few pieces of rags. Surprisingly its not rattling. I thought during the time of install, damping boot door is a must since its Swift.

@ abhinav - sadly I have only these many pics. I was feeling extremely bored to click pics when wiring was going on.

Its a great HU sorry I know only that much.

Alpines, those are co-axs, it makes no difference to the sound just acting as fillers.

That sub looks pretty neat. I was thinking of getting it but just realized it will be too much for m alto. It is big :P

BTW we'd appreciate the pricing of each of the components
