It does.
Tested in on my system.
But then will have to power two of them
Making a bigger hole in my pocket.

Also selling the JBL 14001 will not be a peice of cake you see.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Will look into it also

Yea.
BUt mine is at a higher rating than the one you saw it on.
I want to run my subs on full potential
1200 can power those 2 subs perfectly but mine will need two of them at 4 ohms .

Good idea. Sell your existing 14001. Buy 2 powerbanks and the money you saved up for the new14001 can be used to buy butter chicken and appy for LBM :-) Jokes apart, i'd audition a car with this amp and see if money can be saved buying this amp. After all it'll be the tuning that will matter. You might not notice too much of a difference between both the amps when they are playing in tandem. Also how about buying a power bank and bi amping the subs? That way you make sure both amps power both the subs equally. Dunno much about this biamping thing but sounds pretty convincing :-)

What's funny is these "apparently innocent" leading questions about the iD amp will soon lead to spec bashing and then brand bashing... Some things never change

Not really fair to say,If you look at the brand value its bigger than some of the other brands that are being made popular here. Its just how you perceive things.May be the brand has never been given a fair chance. It may not the the best company in the world, but it does have some good traits and products.

Here's a detailed tech info on it. Please have a read.

How many other MONO amps come in the market in 14k range with b/w?

I see some interesting formulas for calculating the maximum RMS power output from fuse rating of an amplifier.

Like Mr. LBM said :

Class AB = Fuse Rating X 6.5 = Max Power

Class D = Fuse Rating X 9.5 = Max Power

So According to the formulas he claims the following :

Image Dynamics Q1200.1 = 120A X 6.5 = 780W
Kenwood 9104D = 60A X 9.5 = 570W

LBM I read on this forum you claiming about the power output of your STEG K2.04 (Subwoofer amplifier) as 2400W.

With a 175A fuse on the K2.04 (Class AB Amplifier) can you please tell us with your calculation how does STEG amplifier reaches that figure.

Just in case you need help with the specs of your amplifier. Here are they :

Waiting for your expert insight on this.

I second Navinji on that. Have been noticing every thread has been turning out to be a battle of egos and reeking of commercial interest. Take a break guys. Its not doing anyone any good. I'd bet someone is going to get banned pretty soon
