My DZie ICEd

Hey guys
I have upgraded my ICE in DZire.

HU: Stock (as of now!!! Planning on EXAD series, but in a couple of months)
Front: JBL Power series P660C 6-1/2" 2-Way Component System in doors - Rs. 10500/-
Rear: Pioneer 400 watts Oval 4 way speakers (in tray) - Rs. 2850/-
Sub: Kenwood 12" sub (was already with me, costed Rs. 3200/- 5 years ago)
Amp: 4 Channel Blaupunkt (Forgot the model no.) - Rs. 5500/-
Sub BOX: Made of MDF board with black matching carpet all around. - Rs. 500
Wiring: JBL Original wiring - Rs. 2600/-
One speaker level input attached to the HU - Rs. 250

I am satisfied with the performance. I today attached one old pioneer MP3 HU, and hte difference in performance was quite noticable. I will upgrade the HU in a couple of months.
Thanks abhibh and manikjeet who went with me for the install.

^^
Thanks. Speakers were already there in the car. I got them around 8 months ago, at that time they were running with amp.
Rear speakers and sub and currently on one channel, since the default HU comes with only one pre-out.
They are just makeshift.
I will change speakers once i get HU with more pre-outs.

abhibh will post pics. He clicked a few (I think).

Sumit - you were still undecided at the meet to go for ICE/Angel Eyes or Petes! How come this sudden change of heart?

Anyways - the system looks promising - how about an audition??? And Pics plz...

Where was the install done? Did Abhi & Manik help the installer or they were to irritate the installer
BTW - No Damping!!!!

Yea, I was confused.
Now angel eyes or petes will have to wait. Next on the list is HU.
We live close by. Just give me a call for audition.
The installers are mostly irritated with abhi and manik.

Damping will be done. Next week or this weekend probably.

Still running on stock HU. That pioneer HU was just installed for testing and comparing. Noticeable differences found.

@sumit
Nice setup. Can't comment on anything since I'm an absolute newbie at this but then, abhi and manik went alongwith to have some nice time with the installer so I expect this'll be a good one coming.
By the way, quick work. Auditioning the day before and setup the next day. Good job.

Audition and pictures if any, please

Abhishek clicked a few pictures, I think.

Are you sure you want the EXAD head units? JVC is not known to make great sounding HU's!!
anyways congrats for the setup, and I know for a fact that you will enjoy the system even with the head unit.
PS: the weaker link is the Kenwood sub, heard it at opera house the other day. FAR from impressed!

Sub is an old one pulled out from M800 to cut the cost.
Will upgrade things with time.
I like a laid back sub.

abhibh was with me, the wiring looked original to us.
I liked the interface of EXAD and the screen size.
I wanted something with big screen in HU.
What others can you suggest?

I am not really too much inclined towards EXAD and still have sometime to buy the HU.

I will explore my options.
