garry see why every one is saying not to power the rear from the amp there is a reason, when the rear are powered from the amp will go loud compare to the fronts and this will feel that the sound is coming from the back.

take it like this,if you go to see a movie and you are sitting in the front seat and all the front speaker are off and all the sound is coming from the back how will it feel just imagine.

here every one is to give best suggestion they can, further it depends on you.

Garry
Is there any cross over in your setup?
Any Tweeters.

I agree with Karan. Its better to keep the fronts powered else the sound would not be good in the front by any means.

Nahin Bhai , i know that those would only be there if i have compos which i dont have, kitni baat bataun.
I may be novice in car audio but thats at least what you can expect.
My setup is :
Pioneer 2190Ub > HU
Polk Audio coax 6inch > Fr
Boston S95 Coax 6x9 > Rr
This is what i have right now in the car, except this i have an MTF bass tube fitter with Sony woofer and a sound barrier 2ch amp which i am planning to install .

Your 6" speakers are basicly components. This the last suggestion i am giving you as i dont know what else to say. Go to autopshyce in delhi and audition a few systems and then decide. If still you just want to get the barrier then go for it, afterall it is your money and you have to listen to it not us.

frank see the pic - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attach...-ice-db651.jpg ,the front 6"x1/2" are polk audio components, and his rear fills are 6" x 9" are co-axials - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attach...t-ice-s953.jpg. That is why i am telling that they are components.

dont you see the tweeter on the photo of the front speakers? that makes it a coaxial speaker.
also, one more thing: the person himself has come and confirmed that he has bought coaxials. no hard feelings, abhay. just read his last post.

Ok then it must be. I didnt know that they are co-axials. Oh just saw site. You are right. I didnt know. So even the 6" x 9" are co-axials or are they tri-axials? Didnt know the difference between a 6" co-axial and 6" components, Now i do. But still i feel he should go and audition some systems before his install, even if it is a 5k install.
