how abt if we start a thread for different car audio setup's budget wise..or just post the best car audio stuff available for a decent price...it would be nice if u had an idea of the price of a thing, then if its in ur budget go and buy it...

Nice suggestion. Frankly car audio is avery personal thing and depends if you are talking of branded stuff or local immitations as well.

A basic tape/tuner + 4 spkr combo should start at approx 5k + installation + sp.box/tray. add 3k i f you want a MP3 and 6k if you want deck + changer.

a good sounding mp3 setup with a 4 channel amp + fitting should be in the vicinity of 30-35k all inclusive.

Next step sky is the limit depending on your budget and how fussy you are about sound quality.

This is a good tube sub but its meant for small car installations where people dont have the option of using a bandpass box of sealed sub enclosure

yikes. kartik. that looks like a part of the space shuttle! just kidding! it's performance will depend on the car and install. the same tube in a cadilac will sound different than in a toyota.
