JBL GTO 4000 4-channel amp

Hi Gurus,

I wanted to know if it makes sense to buy the JBL-GTO-4000 amp for £52.17 and get it shipped to India from Caraudiosecurity

I have the following setup which is currently running off the HU in an ALTO and I'm not looking forward to adding a sub anytime soon:

HU - Pioneer 7950UB
Front Spkrs - JBL GT5 402
Rear Spkrs - JBL GTO 937

Thanks in advance.

I am sure there are better options for 7k in India. You could even get a 4 x 100 watts GTO 1004 for 9k in the grey market here.

It is 59.99 plus shipping. Add another 20-30GBP to that. And the risk of having to pay Customs duty.

It doesn't make sense.
Better to buy a similar amp from JBL India with bill and warranty.

Ooops. Oversight on my part. I presumed he was having a friend bring it over.

True, considering direct shipping, it's not worth getting it from there.
