Yes, I highly recommend the Belkin cables. Its way better than the 200Rs. MX cables and they are even imported. The stupid MX cables are manufactured in Mumbai and they are cheap gold plated Indian stuffs than the Nicol+chrome plated Belkins. If your budget is not $1000, dont try to buy any MX brand cables.

Thank you for your kind encouragements. Have you settled with any USB sound card?

Wow, what a brilliant you are! I am sorry man and agree with you that Belkins are very much cheaper than this Bundle (Xonar + MX Cables).

Are the Belkin cables available in India - I am very much interested to replace the xonar with belkin cables. Will it play music loudly?

i don't want to get into argument,i need my answer how much these things cost?

andi suppose xonar will play much louder than the belkins ,uhhh my knowledge is wasted i was taught that these few high-end items help play music cleaner and clear rather than loud .

i am not into the sound card till date as i am loving my sound quality from belkins

how much these mx wires and rca cables cost?

leave the sound card aside ,i was asking you coz i am looking for the sound card too now as i have to save according to that

yes belkins are available in india ,by d way how much you are expecting to for?

I agree and told already not to buy MX stuffs unless your budget is limited.

Then avoid buying a sound card, my dear friend. Tease Asus and creative people are cheating people with external sound cards. Belkin cables are chrome plated and they will produce fantastic and crystal clear sound even with any motherboard sound cards.

Man, there are two types of MX Cables.

One is stereo to 2 RCA Male which is recommended by me for any sound cards if the Car PC budget is very low. (If budget is not a matter, i still recommend Belkins)

Here is a sample: http://www.diablocable.com/images/pr...a_male_6ft.jpg

But this cables wont fit if you have a Asus Xonar DX (as the female pins in xonar are very closer and you cant fit more than one of this cable). So I recommend you to buy a stereo to 2 RCA Female + 2 RCA male to 2 RCA Male. (Note: Only if you are going for 4.0/4.1/5.1 setup. For 2.0 the above one will fit)

Here is the samples:

I dont know, but Nokia asked me Rs. 1200 per cable and I ran away.

Quote:

You are completely wrong here. The MX cable cost me Rs. 110+10 per set where the belkins cost you Rs. 900 per cable.

First I told you that Belkin cost you a Bomp when comparing to MX. But I too recommended Belkins, if Budget is not a matter. (Because MX is Indian made and Belkin is US made)

Then you asked me to compare the price of the Belkin cable with my XONAR+MX. (I still cant find the logic behind this).

And now I agree that XONAR+MX is the bomp against Belkin cables. But till now I dont know why should I need a Xonar to use this MX cables instead of Belkin cables?

Now You are asking me to exchange your belkin cables to the xonar +MX.

So the only solution to all this problems are:

I hold my project as I have no interest to continue my Car PC setup until you finish your project. I have many more things to learn from you and
I am ready to exchange the Xonar+MX instead of Belkins, if you prove me that Belkin cable performs better than MX cable at any sound card.

But how do you install my XONAR in the Intel D945GCLF board? Is it has any PCI-X?

Man, Xonar cost you around Rs. 4000, but I got it for 3600 thru a TE Deal. But you may need a PCI-X and a floppy connector for Xonar DX. Avoid buying a X-Fi for a Car PC.

MX cables cost you Rs. 110. If you have more money, they even have a high end cable which cost you Rs. 220 (the same item marked as '11/13' in http://www.tatasafariclub.com/files/...DATA-final.jpg

Friends,

The PC has been successfully setup in the Car and its running fine. The setup process takes around 5 hours and the PC boot up successfully in the first attempt(!). The installer is actually very happy than me and he cant control himself. No hassle now and everything works perfectly. Awesome sound quality comparing to my CD Player. Dual display works, GPS unit is perfect, 4.1 Surround is nice. Webcom doesn't support night vision, so no comment. Here are some of the snaps:

Hey IBM_J,

You Safari now looks like a theater on wheels! Would love to get a demo when we get to meet sometime!

And I do not have any alignment issue in viewing them.
