Hi! gurus!

One of my collegues friend is selling a earthquake 1300 watts woofer with Nippon 4 channel amp, is quoting 5000/- for both, is the price right.

how would be the sound quality with this, I prefer hiphop tracks with soft but good bass.

My HU is pioneer dual din dont know the model number but on with the cassete and cd MP3 player.

Also I am going to couple the ampwoofer setup with companents.

Is JBL good or lightning audio with components???

Please guide!!!

i would say, spend about 2.5k on a New jBL 1204/1205/gt5s12 and about 3k on a JBL 2 channel amplifier (Grey market prices). i think even a sony would be better than any of these nippon chinese things.
jbl makes better components than lightning audio. in fact everything jbl makes is better than what lightning audio makes, now. they are no longer a force to reckon with. stick to known brands, and you cant go wrong. im not saying you wont like lightning audio, but there is a bigger chance that you will like JBL.

Moreover I asked the price of a new Nippon amp, it is more than SONY, how is it possible?? Please clarify.

As far as the components are concerned I will go with JBL thanks! Neways they are cheaper than lightning.

Please tell me more on eartquake woofer.

AFAIK Nippon is a singapore based company.
Wherever it is from though it sounds like crap.

He is giving me a blau amp 4 channel instead of the Nippon in the same price!!! Earthquake 1300 watts woofer. will let you know the model numbers tomorrow.

Never heard of the brand earthquake, stick to more reputed brands like jbl, pio, bull, blau etc.

earthquake is a better known brand in europe. by better known i do not necessarily mean they make good products.

No dude i have heard earthquake, they are good SPL producers, they are also not very costly, just like JBL

JBL would be anyday better than earthquake.. if you're looking for pure headache wala SPL.. Pioneer sub is the way to go!
