Blaupunkt or JBL for my Linea?

Gurus,

Need help since I am really confused.

Have shortlisted the following ICE for my Linea Dynamic..

Set 1:
Sony HU-CDX-GT484US
Bluapunkt THC 662 Comp (Front speakers with tweeters)
Bluapunkt THC 662 Comp (Rear speakers with tweeters)

Set 2:
Sony HU-CDX-GT484US
Bluapunkt THC 662 Comp (Front speakers with tweeters)
Bluapunkt VC 172 Comp (Rear speakers with tweeters)

Set 3:
Sony HU-CDX-GT484US
JBL - Front - Not sure what model.. i am not an expert (suggestions pls)
JBL - Rear - Not sure what model.. i am not an expert (suggestions pls)

I am not going to go for AMP or SUB.. In that case will VC 172 work out to be a good option?

Plese tell me which set up will be good.. I am a real novice..

i listen to Melodies...Rock....(basically all types of music.. no specific preferences)

Pls help Gurus.

Regards,
Sathya

why a sony hu, there are many other brands available in the market. as for the compo i personally like blau over jbl but will suggest hear them personally and then decide which one to buy, and there is no need of compo at the back coax will do the job.

compo will always sound good with a amp will say drop the idea of the rear compo and get your self a decent amp.

First off whats your budget?
Second, don't waste your money on the Sony HU
Third look up these links

Since you don't intend to add an amp it's important you get a good HU in place, because that will play an important role in influencing the sound quality.

I got the Blaupunkt Kingston MP47 HU, BGx 402 4" coaxial 75W for the front (it fits smugly on the two lower corners of the dash from the inside) and THc 693 Triaxial 6"X 9" 280W component speakers with wooden box enclosures on the rear two weeks back for my brand new Scorpio.I am pretty satisfied with the ICE.
Most Tata dealers double up as Blaupunkt authorised dealers. They also give about 10-12% discounts on the total bill.

Considering you dont want to spend a lot on your car, here's a rundown of what is required.
If the Sony HU has been purchased, let it be. If it hasnt, please do not purchase it.
Buy a pioneer USB/ipod hu instead for around 4-5k grey market.
spend about 5-6k on your front speakers and about 1000 on damping the front doors ( a process of sticking thick self adhesive rubber to reduce the 'tympanic' effect of metal on the music)
spend about 3k on your rears (6 inch coaxial or 6*9 inch coaxials on rear parcel mdf tray)
about 500 on wiring and 500 on install.
there, minimal budget and decent sound.
total damages: 15k with new head unit

Front components (comes in a set comprising of midbass+tweeter with crossover): blaupunkt (if you like them) or illusion audio electra el 6.1 (if you like those)
Rear speakers: jbl/blaupunkt (depending on what you like)
head unit: pioneer 4050Ub or 4190SD
