ICE Upgrade on Esteem..Budget 10-12K

Hi guys,
I own a Esteem VX 2001 model which i have bought jus a couple of years back. The car has the company fitted Kenwood System which is in a decent working condition but obviously does not give the best music. So I havent replaced it till now but now i want to upgrade it. I have been through the other threads extensively and have decided on the following :

Here is what it has :
Kenwood Casette Player with support for CD-Changer- KRC-385
Kenwood Speakers at the back and and front in stock locations
Pioneer Tweeters

What I want :
I just have a budget of around Rs.10-12k. Thus, amp, sub, basstubes, etc are out of question

I just want a new HU that supports CD,USB,AUX and has atleast 2 pre outs
2 new front speakers - preferrably components but in stock locations of 4"
2 new rear speakers - 6X9s ,dont mind putting a MDF tray if needed

I expect the above setup to give me a clear sound with decent bass.

So Please help me with the best setup in the above budget. I am going to shell the money on my own and dont want to ask my dad for more, Hence the budget constraint. But still could give it a thought to extending it max to 15k.

Also my existing system in the car is in a very fine working condition and also sounds very good at medium volumes. So could i get it exchanged for the new one and if yes how much could it get me?

Thanks..

Pioneer 3050 suits your need pretty well. - Costs around 5k- not sure though

Illusion 4.1 - 5k
JBL 938 - 3k
13k total + installation.

Good VFM and good sounding system.

Thanks for the reply. But i have a few doubts :

1. I have been through the other threads where people have suggested pioneer for brighter sound whereas kenwood for a clearer crisp sound. I would rather prefer the clear and crisp over the brighter sounds. Thus i am a little biased towards Kenwood. So could you please help me out with the best and latest Kenwood HU in my budget having the specs.
P.S : Correct me if I am wrong

2. Also i read in the other threads JBL 947s are better than the 938. Is it so? and what is its cost?

Thanks

1. the 947s are voiced to be brighter than the 938.
2. Why not listen to both Kenwood and Pioneer.

in 10K you can get 4" Compos + rear 6x9s in wooden tray.
But, why do you not want to fit 6" components and/of amp ?

my friends have pioneer and i have heard it.the bass indeed is on the higher side.i feel its more of loud music rather than clear music.i may be wrong.

whats the price difference between 947 and 938?

i dont want to get the amp because i dont have the budget for it. i need to get 4 new speakers and a head unit and getting all that along with an amp within 12-13k is not possible

no 6" compos for me as i dont want to cut the door panels. 4" compos in stock location will do for me.

Guys help me out with kenwood HUs please
