Focal seems to be fake as they retails for $1500 USD in US so no way they can be for 17K here. Vibe seems to be perfectly priced.

OK. So i'm gonna steer away from the FOCAL's.

About the VIBE's. Has anyone used them? Are they worth being practically double the price of the JBL Power Series? Are they that good?

As of now I have narrowed it down to:

Front:
JBL Power Series P660C @~8000 (@DjNik: is this the same as 6560c?)
The Link: JBL Car & Marine Audio
Other Options that fall in the same price bracket are Ground Zero 165T and llusion Audio Electra EL6.1.
The VIBE Black Air 6 Components are practically double the price at 15k so I guess they are out.

Rear:
JBL Power Series P963 @9000-10000 (the price is what i found on google)
The Link: JBL Car & Marine Audio
Since I wont be going for a SUB, would this provide descent enough low end? I'm not really looking for thump thump but I like the deep low end base.

Amp: (Which one would be better for "No HISS")
GZ 4100HP @~11600 (Has Line Level Inputs)
vs
JBL 1004 @~9000 (Will need Line Level Converters additional)

Ideally I would like to stay < 25K but I don't see that happening. Need to now choose out of the 2 Amps and 3 Front components mentioned above. I have tried both Poona motors and Bafna but could not find a similar setup to audition. I did like the VIBE Black Air 6 Components at Bafna but unfortunately if I go with them then the total shoots up too much.

Looks the same to me- India JBL
The 1004 is a very good amp and I can vouch for that but as you require line-in inputs and the GZ has them it would be a better option for you to go for the GZ rather than using line level convertors.Yes the P963 are even pretty decent speakers. You should even look at Infinity Ref 9633i /GZ Rf 69x.

Infinity Ref should be abt 7K.
Power Series would be about 10k
Infinity Kappa is certainly much more expensive abt 15k maybe.

And what about the difference in the sound characteristics? Sorry if im asking stupid questions but im really lost here. There are SO many choices!!!!

Another Option that I have been really toying with and going with a Good 4 Channel Amp and just the VIBE QB69 as the rear stage. Then after a month or 2 get a descent front stage. I have not got any reviews on the VIBE speakers. Has anyone used them?

Just found a review.
Talk Audio - Vibe QB69

After reading this, they seem more to be bass thumpers more than super SQ speakers.. hmm..

Yes, they are with B & W

BTW: Just confirmed with BAFNA about the FOCALS again. Its 165 K2P. When i asked him how come its so much cheaper than whats mentioned online. (395 Pounds!) He confirmed that the MRP is 32000 but he is offering them at 17K + VAT. I dont understand how he could do that. And its with B & W!

AFAIK 1004 is still very much available.Could somebody confirm this?
A lot of HU's do not have RCA pre-outs so a line level converter converts the speaker outs to RCA outs and thus amps can be connected.
It looks like this-

1004 is still available.

These line level converter are of no use, at least the ones i have used. SQ goes for a toss.

These must be existing stocks at some dealers. In Pune wherever i inquired, no one has one. Seems fresh stock has been stopped from JBL itself is what I understand from this.

Also came to know from a source that its discontinued because of some hissing complaints not just from India but various other countries where its shipped.

It could set the SQ for a toss as again the clean signal from AMP has to go through the converter. Which if not of high quality can definitely ruin the SQ.

The line output converters are simple, passive (resistance-based) impedance matching / voltage level conversion devices, and do not degrade sound quality at all. They don't add anything to the signal from the HU amp, so how will they degrade the signal quality?

Like anything else, if they are used without knowing how to use them and how to tune the system, nothing good can be expected out of them.
